LYNNDELL POPOFFPT MANAGER /CANFIT PRO CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER
Lynndell grew up in a small town where she was involved in competitive figure skating. When Lynndell was 18 she was in a serious accident that left her blind in her left eye and with an acquired brain injury resulting in PTSD. To cope with the symptoms of PTSD Lynndell decided to try using physical fitness and the gym as a natural remedy. Several years later, after finding remarkable success alleviating her PTSD she decided to become a CanFitPro Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor. Lynndell later opened her own Personal Training, Boot Camp and Yoga Studio, training over 300 people before moving to Saskatoon to allow her eldest daughter to pursue her dream of swimming with the national synchronized swimming team. Lynndell has completed her 200hr. yoga teacher training and has recently completed the Level 1 Precision Nutrition course. Lynndell now works as the General Manager and Personal Training Department Manager here at Mawson Health and Fitness and is ready to help you achieve results you never thought possible.
Chris is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Chris has a strong background in Power-lifting and has currently completing his Precision Nutrition Level 1 Course.
Tom has lived in the Saskatoon area for his entire life. Growing up in a small town, he had the opportunity to play on a lot of sports teams. After graduating high school he found that he missed the competitive aspect of sport and found a passion in weight lifting.
Tom then got certified as a Personal Trainer with Canfitpro and looks forward to customizing a program to help to stay healthy, happy while achieving your fitness goals
KARLIE STANG4th Year Bsc. Kin w/ CSEP Certified Personal Trainer
Karlie grew up in a small town near the Alberta-Saskatchewan border where she was involved in many team sports. After completing high school, she moved to Saskatoon to pursue her B.Sc. in Kinesiology, which she will complete in April 2018. She became a certified personal trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology in September 2017 and is certified by the Sport Medicine and Science Council of Saskatchewan in sport first aid and taping. Karlie is a firm believer in the use of exercise as medicine and for overall health. Karlie also is also apart of the Saskatchewan Sports and Medicine Council with a wide knowledge in Sports Taping and Sports First Aid. If you are new to the gym, Karlie would love to help get you started.
